If yes, you should join us in this year's Bali Big Eco Weekend 2016. It's an event created by Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia and Quiksilver Indonesia, to encourage local community and tourists like you to participate in our earth-loving activities in Bali, such as Bali Beach Clean Up and Sea Turtle Release. So let's invite all your friends, neighbours, and families down to Legian Beach, Bali on July 30, 2016. Together, we can keep Bali's beaches clean!
Bali's Big Eco Weekend (BBEW), supported by Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia (CCAI) and Quiksilver (QS), is an event that is conducted to educate the public and heighten awareness of the environmental challenges facing Bali through a major "Eco Event". It is also meant to support Indonesia and Bali's government to introduce environmental awareness in the island that's often dubbed as "the face of the country".
In 2011, the event was officially opened by Governor of Bali Made Mangku Pastika. The Inspector General of Minister for Tourism and Culture, I Gusti Putu Laksaguna also showed his support by attending and giving an encouraging speech at the event.
Through BBEW, we encourage community and tourists to participate in our Eco program, such as Bali Beach Clean Up, Turtle Releases and enjoy fun activities at the beach.

1. BALI BEACH CLEAN UP
At 2.30 pm on Saturday, 15 August 2015, we will gather at Legian Beach (Padma area) to start picking up trashes off the sand. We welcome local communities, tourists, and international guests to contribute to this small act in saving the environment. Join us there!
2. SEA TURTLE RELEASE
No doubt to be the most anticipated event from the whole rundown, you can experience releasing baby sea turtle (tukik) back to their natural habitat. Feel the thrill as you first see your own baby turtle crawl slowly to the ocean.
3. FUN SPORTS ACTIVITIES
We will provide lots of fun activities for everyone at the beach, such as Coke Kicks – one day professional soccer training that will be given to local kids surrounding Legian Area and volleyball court for fun games.
4. LIFESAVERS RACE
We all must be grateful for their existence, because without them, Bali's beaches wouldn't become this safe and comfortable to swim in. So to honor these men of duty, we will have a Lifesaver Race at the beach on Saturday, August 15th. Who do you think will be the fastest man on board?
